Jim Boehm

Jim came to Father Carr’s Place 2B as a volunteer in the spring of 2018. Since then, he has worked the front desk, answered phones and taken care of our front door visitors. Jim has also mentored many of the residents in our shelters. Prior to accepting the Executive Director position, Jim worked in the wholesale beverage industry for over 41 years.

Jim and his wife Karen, have two adult children, Jesse and Samantha. Jesse and his wife Morgan, reside in Neenah. Samantha is currently involved in ministry work with The Culture Project in Ohio. Jim and Karen are members of Saint Raphael the Archangel Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Jim is involved in music ministry at his parish, Saint Francis Xavier Cathedral, and at the Jesuit Retreat House. He is a regular at both the That Man Is You and Esto Vir Catholic men’s organizations. Jim finds strength in praying to Saint Joseph every morning and asking him to continually take him to his earthly Son, Jesus.

In his spare time, Jim is an avid grouse hunter and fly fisherman
