1st & 3rd Meeting

Our 1st & 3rd Meeting is an open speaker meeting for all those battling any type of addiction or vice. We are here for anyone fighting substance abuse, alcoholism, pornography, gambling, over eating, etc,. to attend our meetings. We also encourage the participation of family members and close friends.

1st & 3rd focuses on the first and third steps of AA’’s Twelve Step Recovery Program. 

Step 1. We admitted we were powerless over alcohol — that our lives had become unmanageable

Step 3. Made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of God as we understood Him.

Speakers present on what it means to surrender and turn our lives over to God our Creator. If time allows after the talk, we have small group discussions pertaining to the subject matter. Our meetings are casual to create a warm and welcoming environment. Many who attend the 1st & 3rd meetings, find great healing and hope. Please join us.

The 1st & 3rd meetings are held on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. We meet in the Mother Teresa Center on Father Carr’s Place 2B campus.
